SAFA- US Congressman Ro Khanna has accused Israeli occupation forces of lying and collaborating with armed Israeli settlers who detained him and a delegation of American citizens in the occupied West Bank for nearly 90 minutes.

The California Democrat told NBC News that the incident took place in Hebron, where settlers armed with US-made M4 rifles surrounded their bus, shouted insults, and vandalized the vehicle.

Khanna said that four Israeli occupation soldiers who arrived at the scene sided with the settlers and helped enforce the blockade, directly contradicting the Israeli military's official claim that its forces intervened to disperse the crowd.

Citing security camera footage as evidence of the military's involvement, Khanna called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to launch an immediate investigation into both the settlers and the Israeli occupation soldiers involved in the incident.
