SAFA- Eighty members of the British Parliament, including members of the House of Lords, have called on the UK government to impose comprehensive sanctions on Israel and move beyond statements of condemnation toward concrete measures in response to ongoing violations of international law.

In a joint letter, the signatories urged the UK government to impose a complete ban on arms exports to Israel and halt all commercial and economic activity linked to Israeli settlements built on occupied Palestinian land.

The MPs said the continued violations committed by Israeli occupation authorities against Palestinians require the British government to take stronger action and adopt policies that go beyond political statements.

They stressed that the current situation demands practical measures to hold Israel accountable for repeated violations of international law and ensure compliance with its legal obligations.
