SAFA – A Palestinian was killed and several others were injured on Thursday in an Israeli drone strike targeting a gathering of civilians near Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital in the Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza, according to medical and local sources.
The latest attack comes as Israeli military operations continue across the Gaza Strip, with airstrikes targeting civilians amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement and the gradual westward expansion of the so-called "Yellow Line," further worsening the humanitarian situation.
Meanwhile, Gaza's Health Ministry said hospitals across the Strip received the bodies of six Palestinians over the past 24 hours, including three newly killed, two who succumbed to their injuries, and one body recovered from beneath the rubble. Another six people were injured, according to the ministry.
The ministry said a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble or lying in the streets because ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
According to the ministry, the death toll since the ceasefire of October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,185 Palestinians killed and 3,816 injured.
It added that the overall death toll from the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,311 Palestinians killed and 173,924 injured.
