SAFA – Israeli settlers launched a new wave of attacks across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, assaulting Palestinian villages, burning homes, seizing property, and establishing a new settlement outpost as violence against Palestinian communities continued to escalate.

In the northern West Bank, eight Palestinians were injured after Israeli settlers attacked the village of Far'ata, east of Qalqilya, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

In the southern West Bank, settlers from the illegal Adorayim settlement stormed the home of 80-year-old Sbeih Ghaith in the village of Bireen, east of Hebron. According to the village council, the settlers demolished the interior walls of his house, destroyed its furniture and belongings, and forced the elderly resident to remain in one corner of the home while watching the destruction.

Meanwhile, Israeli settlers established a new settlement outpost along the road connecting Asira al-Shamaliya and Askar al-Balad, north of Nablus, about five kilometers from the Har Ebal settlement outpost. The Palestinian human rights organization Al-Baydar said the move is part of an accelerated settlement expansion aimed at fragmenting Palestinian territory, isolating agricultural land, and increasing pressure on local residents and farmers.

In Salfit, settlers seized a house that was still under construction on the outskirts of Qarawat Bani Hassan. In the Jerusalem area, groups of settlers attacked the outskirts of the Jaba' Bedouin community and targeted Palestinian homes, but residents confronted the assault and prevented damage to their property.

The Nablus area remained under heightened tension following Friday's deadly settler attack on the town of Tell, where settlers reportedly burned homes, including houses with children inside.

Witnesses also reported additional settler incursions, carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, targeting agricultural land and homes near settlements. Other attacks included attempts to block roads and stone Palestinian vehicles.

The renewed settler violence comes amid a broader escalation aimed at tightening pressure on Palestinian communities and expanding Israeli control over occupied Palestinian land.

On Friday, four Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured in coordinated settler attacks across the occupied West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem, carried out with the participation of Israeli occupation forces. The assaults included the burning of Palestinian homes, vehicles, and agricultural land.
