Protesters Outside D.C. Hotel Demand Netanyahu’s Arrest Over Gaza War

SAFA- Pro-Palestinian protests entered a second straight day in Washington, D.C., with demonstrators assembling outside the hotel where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was staying, expressing their rejection of his visit and condemning the ongoing Israeli genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.

Chanting slogans such as “You can’t hide” and “Arrest Netanyahu,” demonstrators called for his detention and accountability over the war crimes he committed in Gaza.

Protesters also waved Palestinian flags and held signs urging an end to U.S. support for Israeli occupation and calling for a halt to the Israeli genocidal war.

Tensions briefly escalated when a number of demonstrators attempted to enter the hotel lobby, prompting security forces to intervene.

Authorities imposed heightened security measures in the area to prevent further incidents.

The protests coincide with Netanyahu’s visit to Washington, where he has held talks with U.S. President Donald Trump and senior administration officials.

The demonstrations reflect growing public opposition among segments of the U.S. population to Israeli crimes in Gaza, as well as increasing calls for accountability amid the ongoing Israeli genocide.
