President of the Palestinian National Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, congratulated Joe Biden on his appointment as the president of the United States, and his vice president, Kamala Harris, wishing them success in confronting the big, hard challenges.

"We are looking forward to working with you for peace and stability on the region and the whole word,"Abbas said. 

he expressed his readniess for a comprehensive process of peace so the Palestinians can enjoy peace and stablility. 

Yesterday, Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States.
