Jordan condemns Israel’s building new settlements in West Bank

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned Israel’s submission of a bid proposal to build 2572 new settlement units in the occupied Palestinian territories.

“Settlement activities are not legal. They are a blatant violations to the international law, especially the Security Council resolution 2334,” Daifallah Alfayez, spokesperson of the ministry, said.

He confirmed that the policy of settlement is a violation against the international law as it undermines peace and the Two-State Solution.

Alfayez called on the international society to intervene and force Israel to stop its brutal policies and settlement activities.
