SAFA- Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey warned on Monday that continued Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip are jeopardizing efforts to implement the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.

In a joint statement, the three mediators condemned continued Israeli attacks across Gaza, particularly those targeting healthcare facilities and critical infrastructure, as well as the growing number of civilian casualties, including women and children.

They described the Israeli bombardment as a "flagrant violation" of international law and international humanitarian law.

The mediators stressed that Israeli occupation authorities must fully comply with their legal obligations and adhere to the terms of the ceasefire agreement, warning that continued violations risk undermining progress toward the agreement's second phase.

The statement noted that the developments come despite Hamas and other Palestinian factions announcing their acceptance of a proposed roadmap, including provisions related to the issue of heavy weapons.

According to the mediators, the continued Israeli escalation threatens the fragile de-escalation process and further deepens the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

The three countries reiterated their call for the protection of civilians, medical facilities, and humanitarian personnel, emphasizing the urgent need to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid, medical supplies, and other essential assistance throughout the enclave.

They also urged the international community to assume its responsibilities by exerting pressure on Israeli occupation authorities to fulfill their legal obligations and commitments under the ceasefire agreement in order to advance implementation of the proposed roadmap.

The statement also referenced remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, who described the consensus on the roadmap for the second phase as a "historic agreement."

The mediators warned that any further Israeli violations could derail efforts to achieve sustained de-escalation, a permanent ceasefire, and an end to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
