The Palestinian prisoners infected with COVID19 and the isolated in section 8 in Rimon prison, where the number of COVID19 cases reached more than 69 since the beginning of the outbreak, suffer from severe conditions.
The families of the prisoners are worried about their sons’ destinies in the wake of the lack of information available about their health conditions, and the continuous attacks committed against them by the Israeli prisons’ adminstrations in which they isolate them without providing them with any conditions that enable them to live healthy, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club.
Family of Abdel Moez Al-Juabeh, infected with COVID19 since January 16th, are worried about their son’s life. He was transfered from Rimon prison into Soroka hospital to be moved again to the jail.
Al-Juabeh, sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment, suffers from hard health conditions; diabetes, hypertension and heart troubles.
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Club held the adminstration of the Israeli jails responsible for Al-Juabeh’s life and all prisoners infected with the virus, calling the Red Cross to work hard to reassure their families.
Al-Juabeh, married and has two sons, has been arrested since 2006.
The club renewed its call for a specialized committee to follow up with the health conditions of the prisoners.
It is worth mentioning that the number of cases infected with COVID19 exceeded 290 since the begining of the outbreak.
