SAFA- The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza has stated that Israeli occupation forces have committed over 4,000 breaches of the ceasefire, killing more than 1,252 Palestinian civilians.

Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office, stated in a press briefing that the documented violations include ground, air, and naval Israeli attacks, as well as direct targeting of residential neighborhoods and displacement shelters across the Gaza Strip.

The office's data indicates that over 1,252 Palestinians have been killed as a result of these violations, with women, children, and civilians making up the majority. 

In addition, over 4,120 people have been injured with varying degrees of severity, further straining Gaza’s already fragile healthcare system.

Al-Thawabta emphasized that Israeli forces have continued to carry out systematic and dangerous violations of the ceasefire agreement since its earliest moments. He noted that these actions constitute a challenge to international humanitarian law and United Nations resolutions.

He added that the documented Israeli attacks have affected all areas of the Gaza Strip, reflecting the ongoing humanitarian deterioration and the worsening suffering of the population amid continued military operations.

The Director General described these violations as “war crimes and crimes against humanity,” calling on the international community, the UN Security Council, and human rights organizations to take concrete steps beyond statements of condemnation and to work toward halting the Israeli violations and holding those responsible accountable.

Al-Thawabta also held Israeli occupation and the U.S. administration responsible for the consequences of the ongoing escalation, stressing that such actions will not undermine the resilience and steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
