SAFA - Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have rejected Israeli violations that could undermine the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need for Israel to uphold its commitments.
In a joint statement, the countries said that attempts to annex Palestinian territories and displace Palestinians are unacceptable, warning that the continuation of Israeli violations in the West Bank threatens prospects for implementing the two-state solution.
The statement called on the United Nations Security Council to take measures requiring Israel to fulfill its obligations and to hold those responsible for violations against the Palestinian people accountable.
The signatory countries stressed the importance of protecting the rights of the Palestinian people and supporting efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region based on international law.
