SAFA- Mary Ann Wiebren, the owner of "Pale Bird’s Books" bookstore in Nashville, Tennessee, faced an incitement and blackmail campaign led by the Zionist organization "StopAntisemitism." This followed her decision to cancel an event featuring the pro-"Israeli occupation" author, Alyssia Rosenheck, in response to public demands rejecting the event.

 Wiebren explained that the decision to cancel came after the bookstore received widespread feedback from opponents of the event, along with accompanying security concerns that prompted her to call off the activity to ensure the safety of employees and visitors.

 In the face of the incitement campaign targeting her, the bookstore owner emphasized that her decision was not driven by any discriminatory motives. 

She pointed to her family background as proof of her rejection of all forms of discrimination, adding that her actions were solely a response to the security conditions surrounding the event.

 The case has sparked a debate in American circles regarding the boundaries of cultural freedoms and the impact of societal pressures on public events. 

This comes at a time when pro-Palestinian campaigns continue across several American cities, demanding accountability for entities supporting the "Israeli occupation" and the aggression against Palestinians.
