SAFA- Hamas movement stated it’s committed to the roadmap for implementing a ceasefire agreement, calling for increased international pressure to ensure Israeli occupation abides by its terms.

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said on Wednesday that the Movement, following its approval of the roadmap in coordination with other Palestinian factions, remains committed to all understandings reached with mediators and the Peace Council.

Qassem stressed that successful implementation of the agreement requires “clear commitment from all parties.”

He urged the United States administration and the Peace Council’s representative, Nikolay Mladenov, to exert “real pressure” on the Israeli government to comply with the agreed terms.

Qassem said such efforts could pave the way for practical and serious steps to implement the roadmap and make tangible progress in the ceasefire process.
