Settlers Storm Aqsa Amid Tight Restrictions

Dozens of Israeli settlers on Sunday morning broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque amid heavy police presence and tight restrictions.

Jerusalem's Islamic Awqaf Department said that the Israeli police allowed 54 Jewish settlers to storm al-Aqsa Mosque in the morning.

The settlers performed Talmudic rituals, roamed al-Aqsa courtyards, and enraged the guards and worshipers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police forces tightened entry restrictions on Palestinian worshipers as the forces forced some worshipers to hand their ID cards before entering the mosque.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is facing daily incursions and violations by Israeli settlers, in an attempt to impose complete control over it.
