SAFA- Two Palestinians were killed and eight others injured in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry said Sunday.

In its daily report, the ministry said the remains of one Palestinian killed earlier were recovered from beneath the rubble, while another was newly killed.

The ministry said several victims remain trapped beneath the rubble or stranded on roads, with ambulance and Civil Defense crews unable to reach them.

Since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10, 2025, 1,258 Palestinians have been killed and 4,139 injured, while the remains of 807 others have been recovered, according to the ministry.

The cumulative toll since Oct. 7, 2023, has reached 73,386 Palestinians killed and 174,250 injured, the ministry said.
