SAFA- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israel's rejection of the 15-point document regarding the Gaza Strip presented by the "Peace Council."

 He emphasized that his government will not execute any withdrawal from the Strip before a genuine disarmament of the Hamas movement, a stance that places obstacles in front of efforts aimed at finalizing arrangements for the next phase in Gaza.

Netanyahu said that Israel "rejects the 15-point document on Gaza presented by the Peace Council," stressing that his country will not undertake any withdrawal before achieving what he described as a "genuine disarmament of Hamas."

 He clarified that the intended disarmament of Hamas is not limited to a specific type of weapon, stating: "When I say disarming Hamas, I mean all types of heavy and light weapons."

In another stance, Netanyahu declared his categorical rejection of the establishment of a Palestinian state, asserting, "No Palestinian state will be established as long as I am Prime Minister, neither in Gaza nor in the West Bank."

In a clear defiance of efforts exerted by international parties, including the United States, Netanyahu said, "We know how to stand our ground even in the face of our best friends when necessary," confirming that his government will not back down from its positions, which it considers vital from its security and political perspective.

Netanyahu's statements come at a time when efforts regarding the plan to deal with the Gaza Strip and the arrangements for the next phase are ongoing. His rejection of the document, along with his adherence to disarmament conditions and refusal of a Palestinian state, reflects an Israeli persistence on positions that could obstruct the proposed understandings regarding the future of the Strip.
