SAFA- Israeli occupation forces detained three aid truck drivers on Saturday near the Kerem Abu Salem crossing in southeastern Gaza.

A Safa correspondent identified the drivers as Ayad Mreish, Zayed Abdel Aal and Ibrahim Abu Jarad, saying they were detained while traveling to the crossing in Rafah.

Israeli occupation forces have recently detained several aid truck drivers in southern Gaza, subjecting them to field interrogations and repeated arrests while they travel to the Kerem Abu Salem crossing.

According to an August 9 statement by the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, Israel has killed more than 20 aid truck drivers and detained 15 others, some of whom have reportedly remained in detention for nearly two years.

The organization said four of the drivers were killed after the ceasefire took effect in October 2025.
