Palestinian Man Shot Dead by Israeli Forces With His Hands and Feet Bound

SAFA -  A 29-year-old Palestinian man was killed after being shot by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the Qizan al-Najjar area south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources reported Friday.

The victim was identified as Ibrahim Mohammed Kawarea, whose Palestinian Red Crescent said its medical teams received Kawarea’s body with his hands and feet bound.

The Israeli crime was also reported by several Palestinian news outlets, which confirmed that the victim had been shot in the Qizan al-Najjar area after he was detained and fully cuffed by Israeli forces.

Separately, a Palestinian child was injured in northern Gaza after a suspected object left behind by the war exploded near the Safatwi area, north of Gaza City.

Despite the ceasefire agreement announced on October 10, 2025, Israel has continued its genocidal campaign across the Strip, resulting in the deaths of 1,273 Palestinians and injuries to more than 4,000 others, most of them children and women, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

Israeli occupation forces have also continued to restrict the entry of agreed-upon quantities of food, medicine, medical supplies, and shelter materials into Gaza, where some 2.4 million Palestinians remain trapped in catastrophic humanitarian conditions.

Israel has continued its offensive operations despite the ceasefire and rejected a plan for carrying out the agreement's second phase.

Since the start of Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, more than 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 174,000 injured, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, the majority of them children and women. Nearly 90% of Gaza’s infrastructure has also been destroyed.
