A Palestinian prisoner is in an open strike

Palestinian Ahmed Nouh Harrish, 31, continues his open strike for the third day in a row. 

"Ahmed started his open strike as a rejection to his detention. He was released from the Israeli prisons 3 months ago after four years of imprisonment," his family stated. 

Israeli forces has previously arrested Harrish, sentenced him to 42 months, and imposed on hime fines of 2000 NIS. Three months ago, he was released. 

Military Ofer prison postponed Harrish's trial for 25 times, under the pretext of the completion of the judicial proceedings. 

On May 28th 2017, a month after his detention which lasted for four months, Israeli forces arrested Ahmed Harrish after raiding his home and destroying its properties.
