The Israeli forces launched, at dawn on Tuesday, a large-scale detention campaign, which took place mainly in the Hebron governorate, affecting more than 30 freed detainees, including members of the Legislative Council and prominent leaders of Hamas.
In addition, the Israeli forces detained two young men when they stormed towns north of Ramallah, in the center of the West Bank.
A local source said that the forces stormed the village of Abu Shkheidem, raided a house and detained Mahmoud Musa Ali.
The source added that the forces stormed the neighboring town of Bir Zeit and detained the young man, Izz al-Din Khalaf Shaalan, after raiding his family's home and carrying out searches and vandalism inside the house.
The two young men were taken to the military point at Atara checkpoint and then to an unknown area.
For Bethlehem, the Israeli forces detained four citizens in the south and east of Bethlehem.
