Syrian Air-Defense systems confronted Israeli rockets fired on the south of the country Wednesday night, according to the Syrian news agency.

In breaking news, the agency reported: "Our Air-Defense systems confronted an Israeli attack targeting the southern area."

It posted photos showing that the air-defense system confronting the Israeli rockets in Quneitra Governorate in the south of the country.

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that the Israeli bombing targeted a military site for the Syrian army and Iranian forces in the countryside of Quneitra.

Israel has intensified its targeting of military sites for the Syrian army, Iranian sites, and other loyal groups in different areas of Syria in the latest months.
