A devastating Israeli strike on Wednesday evening slaughtered over 30 Palestinians and wounded hundreds more as desperate civilians gathered in northern Gaza to receive desperately needed humanitarian aid. Medical workers and witnesses described scenes of carnage, with bodies strewn across the rubble as rescue teams struggled to assist the wounded amid relentless bombardment.  

The attack struck a crowded assembly point where families, already weakened by starvation and exhaustion, had gathered in hopes of securing food and supplies. With Israel’s blockade pushing Gaza into famine, international aid deliveries remain critically insufficient, leaving thousands at risk of starvation.  

Eyewitnesses reported chaotic scenes as survivors scrambled to pull the dead and injured from the wreckage. Local authorities condemned the assault as yet another deliberate attack on civilians, accusing Israel of systematically obstructing aid while targeting those most vulnerable. Human rights groups have repeatedly warned of possible war crimes as civilian casualties mount and aid access remains severely restricted.  

The strike underscores the escalating humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, where over 38,000 Palestinians have been killed since October, and millions more face displacement, disease, and starvation under Israel’s relentless military campaign.
