Netanyahu delays his visit to UAE and Bahrain

Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, delayed today morning his visit to UAE and Bahrain, which was supposed to be this week.

In a press release, Netanyahu mentioned that he delayed the visit  due to the Israeli airspace closure.

He appreciated the invitation of Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, to visit their nations.

Netanyahu re-praised the "historic peace" signed between Israel with Abu Dhabi and Manama.

UAE and Israel reached an agreement to normalize the relations between them through the former president of the US, Donald Trump. Less than a month later, Trump made a similar agreement with Bahrain.

The two Gulf countries signed an agreement of normalization with Israel in September 15th, 2020 in the White House.
