A Jerusalemite prisoner is released, but his wife and son still in Israeli prisons

The Israeli authorities on Sunday released the Jerusalemite prisoner, Abdel Moneim Al-Awar, from the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, after serving his 9 months sentence.

Al-Awar was arrested on May 31,2020 and he was subjected to a lengthy investigation by the Israeli intelligence officers in Al-Maskobiyya detention center and the Israeli court convicted him of providing assistance to the families of prisoners and martyrs.

After that, the Israeli authorities kidnapped his wife, Iman Al-Awar, who was sentenced to an unfair prison for 22 months.

Al-Awar was released from Gilboa prison, leaving behind his wife in Damoun prison and his son Mohammad in the Negev prison.
