Hanna Issa: Israel does not care about the International effort to end colonization

International law expert, Hanna Issa, confirmed that Israel keeps building colonies and occupying lands without caring about the public life of the Palestinians; economic, demographic, political, and security life.

"Due to international law, Israeli colonization is a crime. It is one of the ongoing Israeli crime committed against the occupied lands," Issa stated in a press release.

He mentioned that the criminal jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court includes the colonization crime despite the inclusion of colonization as a war crime in the main system of the court.

"All countries of the world consider colonization illegal and illegitimate in the occupied Palestinian lands due to the rules of the humanitarian international law," Issa stated.

He added, "prosecuting the Israeli war criminals in the Criminal Courts is legitimate despite Israel's disproval of the main system of the court and its reservation to include colonization to the war crimes; it does not accept the jurisdiction of the court over the colonization crimes."

"According to the main system of the jurisdiction of the court, Israeli war criminals cannot be prosecuted for the former crimes," he continued.
