11 sick prisoner receive first dose of Coronavirus vaccine

The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Committee stated that a few days ago, all sick prisoners, who are sitting in the so-called Ramla Prison Clinic, received the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine, and they will receive the second dose on February 18.

In a statement reached Safa on Monday, the committee clarified that 11 sick prisoners are languishing in the Ramla Prison Clinic and the health of the majority of them is classified as the most difficult and serious cases, as their bodies are the weakest and least immune to face the dangerous COVID-19 virus.

The number of sick prisoners in the Israeli prisons is about 700, 11 of whom have cancer, and 300 suffer from chronic diseases and in need of urgent health care.
