Project launched in Gaza to fund cultural initiatives supporting Jerusalem

General Authority for Youth and Culture in Gaza launched a project in cooperation with Al Quds International Institution to fund the implementation of cultural initiatives aiming to support the cause of Al Quds, and to highlight the attempts of Judaizing Jerusalem's Islamic and Arabic culture.

Ahmed Hussain, head of General Authority for Youth and Culture, stated that the project aims at strengthening the Jerusalemites' resistance, supporting their rejecting position of the Judaization policies, and enhancing the Palestinians' knowledge of the importance of Jerusalem and its religious status as it is the focal point of conflict with Israel.

He emphasized the importance of media's focus on Jerusalem to keep it the focus of Arabic and Islamic nations' attention.

"Through the project's budget, which targets the cultural centers and institutes, will fund the implementation of cultural initiatives in the fields of arts, literature and heritage," Ahmed said.
