A Palestinian elderly man was injured yesterday when his vehicle collided with a wall due to an attack carried out by Israeli settlers in Umm al-Khair, east of Yatta, south of Hebron, in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Fouad Al-Amor, the coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committee in Yatta, stated that the elderly Ibrahim Eid al-Faqir (60 years) injured after his vehicle collided with a wall after the settlers of Ma'on settlement assaulted his vehicle.
He pointed out that the settlers ran away after the assault.
It is worth noting that the residents of the area are exposed to systematic Israeli violations, the most recent of which was the demolition of 5 tents and two health units east of Yatta last week, with the aim of displacing them from their lands in favor of settlement expansion.
