Jordan calls on Israel to stop violating Al-Aqsa mosque

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Jordan condemned the blatant violations the Israeli occupation commit against the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Daifallah Ali Alfayez, the spokesperson of the Ministry, called on the international society to take responsibility and force Israel to stop violating Al-Aqsa mosque and provoking the prayers.

He confirmed that the settler's raids into Al-Aqsa mosque under the protection of the Israeli policy violate the current legal and historic position, international law, Israel's commitments, and occupying powers in Jerusalem.

He emphasized that the Al-Aqsa mosque and its 144 dunums is a place specialized for the Muslims and that the Islamic Waqf is the only legal forum that is authorized to run the mosque's affairs and to organize the entry of prayers into the mosque.

Alfayez called on the Israeli occupation authorities to stop their violations of Al-Aqsa mosque, to respect the current legal and historic position, and to respect the administration of Jerusalem's affairs.
