Research conducted by the Galilee Society- the Arab National Society for Health Research and Services reported that 55.6% of the Palestinian families in occupied Palestine were economically affected due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The research's results revealed an increase in the rates of those who suffer from depression, psychological pressure, disturbance, and loneliness.
It confirmed that the psychological health of women, unemployed and sick people deteriorated the most.
The rates gradually declined between the first and second waves of the virus in which the rates of people committing to preventive procedures, social distance, and masks rose by 80%.
1533 persons (841 men, and 692 women above 18) participated in the survey.
