Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said, on Sunday in a media press interview, that Algeria will not bless and will not participate in what he called “the scramble towards normalization,” stressing that for the Algerian people, the Palestinian issue is a “sacred issue.”
"I see that there is a kind of scramble towards normalization, and we will not participate in it and will not bless it, and the Palestinian issue remains sacred to us and the Algerian people as a whole," Tebboune emphasized.
He added, "There is no solution to the Palestinian issue except with a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital. If this state is declared, it will solve the Middle East problem."
The press came five days after the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed two agreements of normalization with Israel, at the White House under the auspices of the United States of America.
