Qais Abd al-Karim, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, stated that it is not suitable to guarantee veto power over the conduct of elections in Jerusalem.
He said in a statement that the Palestinians have the right to participate in the elections.
He noted that the elections must be conducted without Israel's permission.
Abd al-Karim mentioned that there must be a plan agreed on it by the political factions in cooperation with the Central Elections Commission and any foreign force that is ready to supervise the democratic process of elections.
He also stated that the Democratic Front works on employing their international and regional relations to force Israel not to fail the elections.
