OCHA: Israeli Occupation Restricts Aid Deliveries to Northern Gaza

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported that Israeli authorities have denied 11 planned humanitarian movements to northern Gaza.

In its daily report on Friday, OCHA revealed that out of 21 planned UN humanitarian movements, only 10 were approved by the Israeli authorities. Seven were outright rejected, three were delayed, and one was canceled.

OCHA expressed deep concern over the impact of dwindling fuel supplies on essential services in Gaza.

The report also highlighted the worsening hunger crisis in the Gaza Strip, driven by severe shortages of supplies, tight access restrictions, and incidents of armed looting.

According to OCHA, humanitarian partners in Gaza had completely depleted their stockpiles in central Gaza by Sunday. The report noted that Israeli authorities continue to reject most requests to allow the entry of food aid through the Erez Crossing to areas south of Wadi Gaza. Meanwhile, approximately 120,000 metric tons of food aid remain stuck outside the strip.

Israel has continued its aggressive military campaign in Gaza for 463 consecutive days, marked by ongoing war crimes, massacres, and efforts to forcibly displace residents from northern Gaza.
