SAFA - Israeli occupation forces and settlers intensified their attacks across the occupied West Bank in recent hours, carrying out raids, arrests and assaults against Palestinians and their property while expanding settlement activity, bulldozing land and imposing further restrictions on Palestinian movement.

In Jenin, IOF arrested Badr As’ous after raiding his home in the town of Kufeirit, south of the city, and ransacking its contents. In al-Silah al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, they also arrested three young men, Qusai Muath Shawahneh, Issa Khabbas and Walid Ahed Jarradat, after raiding and searching several homes.

In Al-Khalil, Israeli forces stormed the town of al-Karmel, east of Yatta, and searched several homes. During a separate raid on Yatta, they shot a woman and a young girl, the Palestinian Red Crescent said.

Israeli forces also raided several areas of Nablus, including Gamal Abdel Nasser Park, the eastern part of the city, the village of Zeita Jamma'in and Madama. A teenager was detained on Amman Street, while buses carrying settlers entered the eastern area on their way to Joseph’s Tomb.

The raids also reached Tulkarm, where Israeli forces stormed Anabta and searched several homes, most belonging to former prisoners. A home was also raided in Qaffin, north of Tulkarm.

Elsewhere, Israeli forces stormed Salfit, entered Qalqilya through its eastern entrance, and raided Tammun, south of Tubas, and Hizma, north of occupied Jerusalem.

Settler Attacks and Land Seizures

Settlers also continued attacks against Palestinians, their homes, land and livelihoods across several areas of the occupied West Bank.

In Ramallah, settlers released livestock in the northern area of Sinjil and drove sheep through the western entrance of al-Mughayyir, northeast of the city. They also reinstalled iron pipes in an attempt to tap into the main water pipeline supplying the village.

In the Shaab al-Louz area, west of al-Mughayyir, settlers stole belongings from Ezbet Abu Amer. Other settlers attacked land near homes and farmland in Burqa, east of Ramallah, where they bulldozed and leveled land in the al-Marj area before establishing a new settlement outpost on village land.

Settlers also set fire to a vehicle near the Ein Ayoub roundabout, west of Ramallah. In Umm Safa, northwest of the city, settlers installed an iron gate at the entrance to the home of Palestinian Mohammed al-Ubeiyat.

In Al-Khalil, settlers broke into a Palestinian dwelling in the Khirbet Ghuwein area near al-Samu’ and stole belongings from another home in Shaab al-Butm in Masafer Yatta. They also chased shepherds in Arab al-Faqir, east of Yatta, in an attempt to seize their livestock and blocked the road leading to Umm al-Khair using wooden and utility poles near the caravan area.

In Bethlehem, settlers attacked journalists in the town of Jannata and assaulted activists and foreign solidarity campaigners near the city under the protection of Israeli forces.

In Nablus, settlers abducted farmer Mahmoud Nasasra while he was grazing his sheep in the Jabal al-Qa'da area of Beit Furik, east of the city.

In Salfit, settlers raised Israeli flags near several commercial establishments in the western area of Deir Ballut. Other settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and performed the ritual known as the “epic prostration.”

The latest raids and settler attacks form part of the continuing escalation across the occupied West Bank, where Palestinians face expanding settlement construction, land bulldozing, military incursions and growing restrictions on movement. These assaults reflect an ongoing policy of tightening restrictions, forcible displacement, and the imposition of new facts on the ground.
