Israel re-arrests Jerusalemite prisoner during his release

The Israeli intelligence services on Wednesday afternoon re-arrested the Jerusalemite prisoner, Ibrahim Derbas, in front of the Negev Prison, during his release.

Eyewitnesses reported to Safa that the Israeli police car was waiting in front of the Negev prison and the moment Ibrahim left prison, intelligence agents arrested him and took him to the Al-Maskobiyya Center.

The prisoner, Ibrahim Derbas, from the village of Al-Issawiya in Jerusalem, has finished his 30-month sentence.

It is noteworthy that the prisoner Derbas is not the only Jerusalemite prisoner who is subjected to arrest at the moment of his release from the Israeli prisons. Rather, the Israeli authorities have followed this procedure for many years to distort the joy of the prisoner and his family.

In the context, the Israeli forces arrested today a young man, Rafat Najib, from his home on Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem.
