Knife Attack in Haifa: Two Dead and Several Injured

Two people were killed and six others wounded, two critically, in a knife attack in the city of Haifa, located in the northern part of occupied Palestine. The incident occurred at a central bus station on Histadrut Boulevard, where the assailant was also shot dead by Israeli forces.

Initial reports indicated one fatality and four injuries, but the toll was later revised. Early accounts suggested two individuals were involved, though Israeli forces have not confirmed the presence of a second suspect and have launched a search operation.

Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos, including an incident where Israeli forces mistakenly shot an Israeli settler, mistaking them for the attacker. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom transported the wounded to Rambam Hospital, where three victims were reported to be in critical condition.

The attack comes amid a broader escalation of violence across the occupied West Bank, marked by increased Israeli military raids and rising tensions.
