Israel deports 13 employees from Al-Aqsa since the beginning of 2021

“The Israeli forces deported13 employees from the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque since the beginning of this year, in violation of all agreements and covenants,” the Islamic Endowment Department in Jerusalem said.

The department added in a statement that 8 of the deportees are still being subjected to various deportation decisions issued by the Israeli police, in a clear attack against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In addition, the Israeli police have recently escalated the policy of deportation from Al-Aqsa Mosque, specifically after the recent clashes in the occupied city of Jerusalem and the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip.

Dozens of deportation decisions were issued collectively against Jerusalemites, Al-Aqsa guards, and employees of the Islamic Endowment Department in Jerusalem, ranging from 15 days to six months, under the pretexts of "obstructing the work of the Israeli police in Al-Aqsa, or that they are a threat to the state security or incite violence."
