The spokesperson of Hamas stated that repeating the Israeli electoral process is an indication of the deep political crisis the Israeli occupation lives in parallel with its military and security crises. 

Fawzy Barhoom said that this happened as a result of the Palestinians' power, ferocity, and resistance. 

"Whatever the form of the government is, this will not change the way we deal with the Israeli occupation as we have to resist with all possible ways and all shapes of resistance," he said. 

He added, "We will keep fighting until we confirm that the Palestinian blood and the holy places are a red line and that the behavior of the Israeli government will determine the nature of our field treatment with the Israeli occupation."
