Al-Quds Center reported that the Israeli occupation forces demolished 52 Palestinian structures in the occupied West Bank last June.
The center said in a statement that reached Safa on Tuesday that the village of Al-Araqib in the Negev suffers from its ongoing catastrophe, as the occupation demolished it twice last June and it was demolished 189 times since years ago until June 2021.
The demolitions notices carried out by the occupation authorities were distributed in the West Bank and the occupied territories in 1948.
Settlement activities returned to the rise in June after they had decreased during the last Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which means that the resistance alone is impeding the settlement practices in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
The center pointed out that one of the pretexts of demolition that the occupation uses is building without a permit or building in areas where construction is prohibited. However, the policies of restricting permits and preventing the natural expansion of Palestinian communities are settlement activities aimed at controlling Area C and Judaizing Jerusalem, and creating spaces for settlement expansion.
