Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, phoned on Thursday evening, Talal Naji, Assistant Secretary-General of the Popular Front "General Command", and offered him and the Front leadership condolences on the death of the Palestinian leader Ahmed Jibril, Secretary-General of the Popular Front "General Command", recalling his national role and struggle against the Zionist occupation.

Haniyeh also called Badr, the son of the late Ahmed Jibril, and offered him and the family his condolences on the death of his father, who had a special imprint in Palestinian history and his role in the framework of the Palestinian people's revolution against the occupation since the 1960s.

Hamas chief stressed the move towards achieving the constants of the Palestinian people and working together to achieve them.
