A group of Palestinians organized on Monday a protest, rejecting the UAE-Israel normalization, in front of the UAE embassy in the German capital, Berlin.

The protesters chanted slogans in front of the Emirate embassy in Berlin, and raised many signs including slogans denouncing the agreement, such as "No peace without the rights of Palestinians", "History will not forgive traitors" and "Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine."

Asaad Kanaan, one of the participants in the protest, expressed his shock at the agreement between Israel and the UAE with the help of United States.

"This agreement gives Israel more rights in the Middle East. Where are the rights of the Palestinians? This is the problem," Kanaan told Anadolu Agency. He added that it is necessary to take into account the rights of the Palestinians in any agreement and initiative.

After years of cooperation, coordination, communication and exchange visits, US President Donald Trump announced last Thursday that the UAE and Israel had reached an agreement to normalize relations between them, under what he called "historic peace deal"
