The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) spokesman, Adnan Abu Hasna, said that the situation in Gaza is very serious and deteriorating on all levels.

"Bringing things back to the peak of the siege as it was before is extremely dangerous," Abu Hasna added.

"We note the rise in destructive negative energy in Gaza," he asserted. "If the issues that Gaza suffers from are not radically addressed, we do not rule out we will be facing a new round of violence very soon."
