British Consulate General concerned over recent Israeli police violence at al-Aqsa mosque

The British Consulate General in Jerusalem expressed in a tweet concern over Israeli police violence against Muslim worshipers at al-Aqsa mosque.

"Concerned to once again see violence in the #HaramalSharif as we approach Eid al Adha. We urge full respect for the Status Quo."

The British Consulate-General urged all sides to work to calm tensions.
