Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) announced on Wednesday evening that a Palestinian prisoner has tested positive for Coronavirus in section 17 in the Israeli prison of Ofer.

PPS said in a statement that the prison administration isolated 18 prisoners and transferred them to section 18 dedicated to isolating prisoners infected with the virus, after announcing the infection of the prisoner.

It should be noted that the occupation has transformed some sections of the prisons into quarantine centers, in which the minimum conditions of health care are not available.
