IOF suppresses protests in Nablus


Israeli occupation forces (IOF) suppressed anti-settlement protests in the towns of Beita and Beit Dajan in Nablus city, resulting in a number of injuries.

Safa correspondent reported that clashes erupted after Friday prayers on the lands of Jabal Sabih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

He said that the clashes centered on two areas in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih, the most violent of which was in the Al-Hoota area. A young man was wounded by live bullets in the foot, and journalist Ayman Al-Nubani was hit with a metal bullet, while dozens suffocated from gas.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces suppressed a weekly protest in Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.

The occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas at the participants.
