A Palestinian teenager, who was shot and critically wounded yesterday by Israeli occupation forces in the village of Nabi Saleh, has died of his wounds hours later.
The Ministry of Health announced the death of Mohammad Munir Tamimi, 17, after he was shot in the stomach and critically wounded when an Israeli army foot patrol opened fire at youth in the village.
Human rights activist Bilal Al-Tamimi reported to Safa that a force of pedestrians stormed yesterday at the center of the village and started firing gas bombs and metal bullets.
Al-Tamimi added that dozens of youth confronted them and threw stones at them. Then the occupation fired live bullets, which led to the injury of a teenager with live bullets in the lower back. The bullet came out of his stomach.
He added that the teenager was injured at close range during the confrontations, which caused a large case of bleeding, and was transferred to Salfit Hospital.
The village witnesses weekly confrontations against settlements, rejecting the settlers' attempts to seize lands in the village and control the springs of water.
