Dozens of Palestinians were injured Saturday evening by rubber bullets and tear gas after settlers stormed Tayasir camp, east of the city of Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported to Safa that the occupation soldiers violently suppressed a protest of citizens and activists that headed to the Tayasir checkpoint in order to confront the settlers' families who stormed the area and stayed there for days.
They added that many injuries were reported with rubber bullets and dozens of suffocation.
The youths clashed with the soldiers at the checkpoint located at the entrance to the camp.
For its part, the Ministry of Health reported that a citizen was wounded by live bullets in the back during the confrontations, and described his injury as moderate, in addition to a group of youth who were injured.
