The UN Security Council holds a session next Wednesday to discuss the Israeli occupation violations and the attacks of its settlers in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, the siege of the Gaza Strip, and the issue of Palestinian prisoners.
The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Ambassador Riyad Mansour, said during an interview with Voice of Palestine radio that a letter was sent to the President of the Security Council, the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the General Assembly regarding violations of the occupation.
Mansour stated that the letter called on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards the Palestinian cause and to pressure the occupation authorities to respect the law in the Palestinian land.
