The National Democratic Party organized a demonstration on Saturday in the West Bank city of Nazareth against the normalization agreement between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel, which comes at the expense of the Palestinian people, their rights and their just cause.

Members and activists of the party and two of the Knesset members, Imtans Shehadeh and Hiba Yazbek, participated in the vigil that was held in the city square.

"The position of rejecting the agreement represents the position of our people, especially since we are on a difficult new stage after the deal of the century and the UAE normalization agreement," said the party.

To add, the participants raised the Palestinian flag, slogans and banners denouncing normalization with Israel.

It is worth mentioning that Israel and UAE announced on August 13 that they had agreed to the full normalization of relations.
