Despite the outbreak of coronavirus, Israeli authorities escalated their detentions of Palestinians in October, according to a monthly report issued by the Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies.
The report confirmed that the Israeli forces detained 410 Palestinians in October, including 46 children, 8 women, 3 journalists and a deputy.
Among the detainees, there were 7 detention cases in the Gaza strip, including a 15-year-old child and 42-year-old patient.
The Israeli authorities also re-detained the deputy at the Legislative Council Hassan Youssef after raiding his home in al- Bireh city, and issued an administrative detention against him for 6 months.
